President-elect Donald Trump’s evidence-less claim of “millions” of illegal voters drew this short-and-sweet response from Secretary of State Brian Kemp’s office: “Not in Georgia.”

Trump’s faulty claims of false votes has put Kemp, Georgia’s top elections official, and other Republican elections supervisors in a bind as they wrestle over how to respond to a victorious candidate who continues to question the integrity of the election system.

Democrats have let loose on Trump’s baseless claim. California’s top election official, Alex Padilla, denounced Trump in a tweet over the weekend for targeting his state as one of several with “illegal” votes.
